I'm looking for any information on James Tonks, 1793-1847. He was a brass founder in bilston, and , on his death, the business passed to William, his son. He was married twice, first to Susanna Patchet, secondly (I think) to Ann Onions. His children were William, Susanna, and James (my ancestor). If anyone has any information on this part of the family, or on the connection between the family and brassfounding, I should be very grateful.
