Sharon, Sarah Tooley Reed was born 1832 or 1833 according to the Owen County, IN census in 1870 (Clay Township). She had Eli Rufus, Mary, William, John, Martha, & Calvin (all children living with her in the 1870 census). I do not know if they were all hers or if some were her husband's by a previous marriage. Her son Calvin Robert Reed was born August 28, 1869. Calvin Robert is my great-grandfather. I am not sure of Sarah's husbands name. I found a John C. Reed in the property records in Owen County don't know if there is a connection. I also found that there was a Wm M. Tooley living near Sarah in the 1870 census also an Eddy Tooley in Owen County got a divorce in January 1867. These Tooley's are probably Sarah's family. If you find out anything I would like the information.
