I have quite a bit information on Eli Rufus family. His children and some of their children and birthdates etc. I also have Calvin Robert Reed's family information. He was born August 28, 1869 probably in Owen County, could be Monroe, Co. IN I have his obituary and his wife Rebecca "Kate" Catherine Abrams obituary. I have their children and many of the grandchildren. Their children were David "Davy" Robert Reed, SR. born March 1, 1902 died May, 10, 1980. He lived in Monroe County, IN. Most of his children and grandchildren I believe still live there. He was married Iva Marie Pelfree. They are buried at the Vahalla Memorial Gardens in Bloomington, IN. My line is Benjamin "Ben" Albert Reed Born February 4, 1895 died November 26, 1947. He married Olive Isabelle Pearson the daughter of Verlin Reed Pearson and Melvina Phipps. Rufus "Ruffie" "Buck" Reed was the son of Eli Rufus and 1st cousins to Ben Albert. Ruffie married Olive's half sister Bessie Pearson whose father was Sexton Long. She was raised by Verlin Reed Pearson and she was the daughter of Melvina Phipps. It does get complicated after awhile. Other children of Calvin & Kate were Sadie, Stella(Born: Feb. 18, 1899), Earnest(Born: June 22, 1892). Earnest/Ernest lived in Bloomington, IN and is buried in Liberty Cemetary in Hendricksville, IN in Greene County, where his parents are buried. I went there once and did not find the graves but they are buried there. I found a Sarah T. and I am unsure if this too is Sadie (born: Feb. 14, 1896)or if they had another child a year later(Feb. 1897) who was named Sarah. Stella's family lived in Indianapolis and she is buried either in Morgantown or Martinsville I have not had time to figure out which. Stella was married to a a Busby then to William "Willie" Dicus and then to a Russell Holmes. Sadie was married to Otto Strietelmeier and then to Gus Stoicha. Sadie also lived in Indianapolis and has grandchildren who still live there. On a birth record in Greene County, IN I found it marked that Kate & Calvin had lost children. Have more info but to much to put on computer. I have a first cousin who lives in Solsberry, IN who is also working on the family tree she might be of help also. Please let me know what info you have.
