I'm rather curious about this family, based on the migration pattern. My g-g-g-grandfather, Oren/Orrin TOOLEY, was born abt. 1825 in VT. He moved to NY some time before 1850, showing up there in the household of Abiel Wood, in Collins, Erie Co. (his daughter, Clarinda, is noted in family tree info as b. in Lodi, Seneca Co. in 1849 - about 60 miles west of Collins). Oren and his wife, Phebe STANCLIFF/T, moved in Berrien Co., MI bet. 1852-57, and Oren set off for the gold fields, presumably in CO, which was then having a gold rush, in 1860, never to be heard from again (or showing up in any later censuses).

It's a long shot, but perhaps Oren fits in to Isaac's family, because of the similar migration patterns. If you have any information that may connect Oren to this family (or disprove it), or any details on where in the three states this family lived, I'd greatly appreciate it, as well as share any info I have.

Please either post any info here or email me at cblyeth@yahoo.com. Thanks!
