Hi Rebecca,

Thanks for your offer.

My Tooley's have their origins in Ireland. Some time prior to 1872 they arrived in Liverpool. I have not been able to find a marriage certificate so I can only assume they married in Ireland. The following is the only information that I have.

EDWARD GEORGE TOOLEY b circa 1828 Ireland married ELIZA/ELIZABETH O'CONNELL b circa 1847 Cork, Ireland.

They had the following children:

JAMES WILLIAM born 4/7/1872 at 10, Rawsthorn Square, Limkiln Lane, St Martin, Liverpool. James is my Great Grandfather.

JOSEPH born 27/4/1877 at 3, Rawsthorne Square. Also known as Francis.

EVELINA ANN born 29/5/1879 59, Bridgewater St, St Thomas, Liverpool.

In 1881 the family were living at 59, Bridewater Street, Liverpool and in 1891 at 27, Jordan Street, St. George, Liverpool.

Because of their Irish origins we can go no further back than 1872, with the birth of their first child.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards from one Tooley to another.....

Caron Bowyer nee Tooley
