Hello Leslie,
I was very pleased to hear from a Tooley descendent. My John Tooley did indeed have a brother Richard, but according to the information I have collected this Richard never married, and died in Boston Lincs. 8 Nov. 1887. John and Richard were the sons of William Tooley and Mary Southringwood (Southernwood). I must state however, that although I believe this information to be correct,as it slots into my research of the Tooley's, a lot of my Tooley history has been provided by other people and not all as yet checked by me.
I would love to learn more, especially of Mahala and her family, as she died before my mother was born and we know nothing of her life.
Regards
Pat.
