Hello there Tim, thank you so very much for emailing me about Charles Tooley. I was told by my Aunt Nan (her real name was Dorothy), that Charles had come from Ireland, and that he left Ireland against the wishes of his father, who threatened to cut him out of the will or something to that effect, if he left. But I had always wondered myself, despite accepting that information that my Aunt told me, if he had in fact actually came from England. The fact that the Charles Tooley you mentioned came from London, England is interesting, because my mother's other ancestors, who had married into the Tooley family, had family who came from London and the surrounding areas (Harmondsworth and High Wycombe). Did Sarah Bolger come from Ireland or England?(I ask this because people can get married anywhere) Who was listed as the descendants? If he is truly the same Charles, he would have two or more daughters, named Lovina and Florence and Maud. There may have been more children than that. Nell is another one.

I would really appreciate hearing from you again about this. Thank you again.

I need to go to work tomorrow so I need to get to bed, lol.

Blessings- Sheila
