Also have heard of Cherokee connection to the Tooley family. Our line of which we have his a brick wall is.
Jessie Mae Tooley 1889 Pike County Il. She went to live with the Turner's at an early age. Her father, Henry Tooley born 1856 and her mother, Katie born 1858. Not sure if Katie died or what and that is why Harry, her brother and Jessie ended up with the Turner's in Illinois. Jessie had a brother Harry, sisters Mary E. and Della.
