Hello, Ms. Paris,

My names is Mary Ellen Monroe(Munro)Zwez. I have been looking for my ggg grandfather Daniel Munro who died in Howard County Missouri in 1824. His son, Daniel Munro Jr. is from whom I am descended. I have found that he lived in Warren County Kentucky prior to moving to Howard County Missouri. He lived in Stafford County Virginia and fought in the lst Regiment of Maryland. He fought in the Battles of Brandywine, Monmouth, and Germantown. I was so happy wehn I read your email to Stewart Monroe to finally find out Daniel Monroe's birthplace. I have found him on Tax Census records, but since many records were burned in the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812, I was unable to determin e his birthplace: Virginia or Scotland.
