Tim thank you for your reply

Sadly I dont have alot of information most of it comes from the Memories of his neice my grandmother who has since died and a few family records postcards etc. He married a a ggg aunt, a Ivy Whiteley Wakeling and was born aprox 1882 Cambridgeshire, UK I believe but I havent managed to find a record of their wedding in the UK but it may have been in Berlin. Ivy's parents lived and worked in Berlin Gremany one of Ivy's sisters married there in 1900. The children were born in Surrey and Cambridgeshire and when she come back to the UK Ivy's mother moved back to Surrey.

Ivy came from a "horsey" background Her father and at least one unkle were Horse trainers and 2 brothers were Jockieys.

This is my family tree as it stands at the moment http://www.tribalpages.com/tribe/browse?userid=olgadapolga&rand=98772
