Does anyone have any info on the Topham family in Aubourn, Lincolnshire and also Metheringham, in the same county?
My 2 x great grandfather was John Topham who was born about 1811 in Aubourn and resident in Lilly's Yard, Northgate, Newark, Nottinghamshire in 1840 when his son, Thomas, was born. John's parents were Thomas (born circa 1770 Aubourn, died 1847 Aubourn) and, I think, Mary Goodwin whom he married in 1791 also in Aubourn.
