Thanks for the info. I know NOTHING about this John B. Topham, other than a reference to him and his wife, POLLY HOWLAND, as being the parents of Marie-Mathilde (or Esther) and Mary. My line descends from Marie-Mathilde (or Esther) who married a Weitzel. Their daughter, Marthe, married a Doucet. Their daughter, Marie-Dina, married Lin Landry . . . and so on to my grandmother Landry. I have nothing else, but was trying to get more info on John B. and Polly. Seems based on the dates of later born children, that the John B. with land grants might have been a son of this guy? Or, he could be one and the same. No guesses better than yours!
