George Henry Topham

My childrens school is named after George Henry Topham. According to the 1891 census for Monserrat House, Tong st., Bradford, he was 7 years old. His father was Wilson Topham and mother was Mary Topham. He had sisters named Lilian, Florence and Sarah. Postal directory of 1893 says the family owned Vulcan works ironfoundery, also Tong St. Family may have moved to Ilkely. Lilian was married at the Ilkely Congregational Church in 1896. We believe he immigrated to Canada around 1910-1912 and settled in the Township of Langley. ( 45 km or 25 miles SE of Vancouver} G.H. Topham died in WW1 as a member of the Canadian Armed Forces, British Columbia Regiment. The school is planning a dedication ceremony and we thought it would be fun to contact any family members. I can provide further details if needed. Any help that could be provided would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Dave Kasper.
