Hi Mary,

It turns out that we are 7th cousins. I sent you a note on the folks you mentioned here.
While your line proceeded from western PA to Lancaster, OH to Shelby Co, IL
my line went from Pittsburgh to Quincy, IL then to Blakesburg, IA in the southeast part of Iowa.

I spent a lot of time in Lancaster, OH on business and really went through the records at the Fairfield County Library in Lancaster in the evenings.

However, I do not know of the Alice Simpson you asked about.

I can fill you in on the many children of your ancestral line.
