Tom, could you re-post the "alternate" children for Marcus Lafayette Torrence and presumed wife Rebecca Horton ?

it's become clear to me that Henry E. with wife Ellen, and Fayette A. with wife Sophia, are children of Andrew J. Torrence and Ann ... Torrences who were at least for a while in Connecticut (I didn't have them in my database; the only Andrew I have is listed as a son of Salmond D. Torrence

however, at one time you mentioned that you had discovered some data which supported my theory that William Henry Torrence who married Saloma Dains, was son of William Torrence who married Lucy Castle (William son of Samuel Torrence and Jemimah Parke)

I did, while looking for Andrew Torrence, find Hastings Torrence, aged 59 (in 1860) born Vermont, with presumed wife Lydia and presumed children A__C. aged 28, William H. aged 18, and Aaron age 9; will be interesting to find out what relation this Hastings Torrence is to Andrew Torrence

Candy
