I'm the granddaughter of Emmett J. Scott Torrence (DOB-1/8/1921). His mother was the late Ollie Rankin-Irby. He attended Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church (Cleveland, NC)and Siloam Presbyterian Churh (Brooklyn, NY). I don't know much about his father and that is who I'm looking for. From my my understanding, he is from Rowan/Iredell County also. If you can help me I would greatly appreciate it.
