I found a Robert Torrance in VT, Addison, at Middlebury in 1810.

Robert Jr in VT, Addison at Middelbury in 1810.

a torrance in VT, Addison at Weubridge in 1820

Hastings Torrance in VT, Addison in 1840

and

Orange P Torrance in Vt, Addison

Also
Thomas Torrance in 1790 at Vt Chittenden, Georgia twp

Robert Torrence in 1790 in VT, Addsion Middlebury

Orlin P Torrence and wife Lucy P in VT, Addison, Middlebury in 1870. He is born c1795 and she born c1805

Haston Torrence in 1830 at VT Addsion Shorehamd
(But the writing looks like Hastins )
