The John Torrans that I mentioned is
John Torrans (1702-1780) born in Londonderry, IR and died in Charleston, SC and buried at Circular Church on Meeting Street in Charleston.
His wife was
Elizabeth Blanche Snith (1736-1817)and she MAY have married late in 1780 to Captain John Hatter in Charleston.

I was able to trace the children of John
and of Eliza who married a Cochran

and of Rosella Cochran who married Moodie

and of Caroline Eliza Moodie who married a Chisolm.

and of Susanne Cockran (Rosella's sister) who married a Pinkney

This seems to be the folks you were looking for.

Tom Fetters
