Hi, Sam:

I see that my cousin, Tom Fetters, has answered some of your questions. Really, I cannot add anything to what he has said. However, there is an on line reference in case you should care to read further on the assorted Torrences of Northern Ireland. It is: In the past couple of years researchers in Ireland, etc. have done more work with the family. As I read their efforts, they do not think Hugh, b 1732, is part of Tom's and my line. He might have been a relative, and it is known that when he first came to America, he spent some time in PA before heading down the road to North Carolina. Good luck! Nancy A. Coleman
