Oh, Ho!

Flabbergasted at my end. I know Massachusetts as a state and have been to Boston on business.

However the names of most cities and towns are just names to me.

You mention that the three kids are in western Mass and I had no way to nkow that. The fourth went to Dedham and I have no clue where that is, but you seem to suggest it is not in western Mass.

OK, I have been to Springfield, MA and know that it is near the Connecticut state line. Took the train up from Hartford I think.

I do mid-west states much better, and it is hard to find a place in South Carolina that I haven't been. I write books on the trains in South Carolina and Volume 2 of my Logging Railroads of the Blue Ridge & Smoky Mountains is just finished today and being shipped to me for review. Then we run an index and off to the printers.
The new one covers north Georgia, and South and eastern Tennessee with a bit of far western North Carolina to found it all out. This will be a pretty slick book with a lot of history and plenty of photos of lost and remote areas back in the deep mountains.
