Mary Ann,

"Mrs. Torrance" [AKA Catherine Torrence] must be Melvin Torrance's widow, CATHERINE SEVERENCE. Melvin died at Dedham in 1814. [Source: Probate Record, "Melvin Torrance; year: 1814; residence: Dedham (Norfolk, MA); nature of the document: administraton; case no. 18573," Norfolk County, MA, Probate Index 1793-1900,";]. Melvin was born in 1784. Catherine Severence must have been near his age, so would have been born circa 1780s.

After his death, I haven't found that she remarried. Has anyone? It makes perfect sense that she'd wind up in Enfield near her in-laws.
