Look at my notes on Meigs County, Ohio Information dated Janaury 28, 1010 as it may clear this up for you.

The critical juncture is with the three known children of Hugh and Eleanor.

Martha Torrance went to Charleston, SC and the lineage shifts to Hogg.

Robert married Lucy Peck and went to Middlebury VT. THIS is your line.

Jean married John Torrance (of my line) and this family is the one I have most details.

Can you send me any material on the family of Robert and Lucy that I could use to build up your family using your infroamtion as a guide? I have loads of un-identified Torrance people and this would clear up a lot of mystery.
