I took a break from everything else in genealogy and focused on my husband's Torrance line. I haven't been on any of the GenForum sites for months. I'm quite a ways from getting all of my new information input into my computer program, but I need a break.
Last night I did some searching on familysearch.org and found no records(they were doing updates or something), but a number of family trees (with no source information).
If any of the 41 trees I checked has any accuracy to it, I think the work of a B. Lewis is most likely. The creator lists Anne/Ann Mixer as b. 4 Nov. 1750, Suffield, Hartford, Connecticut, d/o Isaac Mixer and Thankful Towsley. Anne/Ann Mixer m. Jonathan Bartlett 18 Dec. 1768 in Brookfield, Barnstable, Massachusetts. There is a Jonathan Bartlett, christened 18 Sept. 1745 in Brookfield, Worcester, Mass., s/o Joseph Bartlett and Sarah ?
I've always wondered if the Clorinda Bartlett who m. John Torrance was related to Jeduthan (Jr.)'s wife, Emma Bartlett. Emma's father was Gideon and her mother was Lydia Brown.
