Solomon Tetherow, and his wife, Ibby(a) Baker, were wagon train pioneers on the Oregon Trail. There is a wealth of information about him in history books of Oregon and the Trail. Anyone interested can email me for specific books, but it is not difficult to find their names on records, along with the family of Boones. (The Solomon I am referring to is the son of Michael Tetherow and Barbara Shrum (Schram). Solomon was captain on the first successful wagon train over the Trail. (Not to be associated with the Donner Party!)
