Solomon's wife was Ibba E. (prob. Elizabeth) BAKER. I've seen mispellings of Baber and Barker. She was born 15 Sep 1806 and died of Consumption on 25 Mar 1869 (10 years before Solomon died) and is buried in Fir Crest Cemetery in Monmouth, Polk County, Oregon. The sources are documented by visiting cemetery personally and other county records. It appears she was called "Ibbie".

Other Tetherow's buried there are available in "Listing for Fir Crest Cemetery: Vol. 5: More Cemeteries, p. 40-41, published by Polk County Genealogical Society. Also includes Tedrow.

I have found Solomon TETHEROE in 1849 Polk County Census, p. 9, listing 9 family members. Five males (15-20) and one male (20-30 must be Solomon) and three females (10-15).

Also found 1850 Fed. Census, Polk County, OR [M432-742 p. 215] spelled
FETHEROUGH, Solomon, 50, Male, Farmer, bp. NC
Dwelling #60; Family #60 [Lines33-41]
" Elizabeth (prob. Ibba), 45, Female, bp. NC
" Ann, 16, F, bp. MO
" Samuel, 14, M, bp. MO
" Thos. 12, M, bp. MO
" Emily, 11, F, bp. MO
" Wm. L., 8, M, bp. MO
" James K. Polk, 5, M, bp. O.T. (Oregon Territory)
" Martha, 2, F, bp. O.T.
