3 orphaned boys

Am searching for parents of orphaned boys; Elias "Eli" Dethrow, David Dotherow, and Joseph C. Deatheroo. All born 1821-1829. The boys were orphaned when, it has been told, their mother drown (not verified). OUR KIN does not list any of the boys, and we believe that the grandparents of the boys are John Dettero and Mary Hoffman. Eli was raised by an old doctor. Does any of this sound familiar? Who are the parents? Who was the old doctor. Uncertain where the boys were born, possibles are MS, TN or AL. David Dotherow raised his family in Brooksville, MS. Eli married 2nd wife in OH, but would eventually move to Oregon County, MO. Any help will be more than appreciated.
