Buell - that's wonderful that you were able to prove who the sons of John Townsend Sr. were! I wonder if you would be willing to share with the rest of us, how you were able to prove that Thomas Townsend, John Townsend Jr, Joseph Townzen and James L. Townsend were his sons? Have you located a will in which he gave their names? A land record in which he gave them land and said they were his sons? Or a court record of some sort? I'm sure all of us who are interested in this line would like to know, so that we could also get a copy of whatever document you found. Whatever proof you have, you really should post it here on GenForum so everyone will know!
