My Riviere Ouelle CD has Francois Benoni with a birth date but stops there, most likely because he was not married in RO.
You should try posting your query at the "Quebec, Canada" forum at this web site.
I hope that you are not going at this from the wrong direction. You should start from you and work up one generation at a time, proving each marriage. The marriage records should have the parents of both spouces. There were at least 6 unrelated Bouchers that arrived from France in the 1600s.Pierre, Francois, Benard are common names in all 6 of these Bouchers.
If you are sure of your line up to Lorenzo C. Boucher married to Catherine Flynn in 1880 in Watertown, NY, start with them.Post your simple question at the Quebec Canada, Boucher and the NY state forums, and ask for their parents and children and see if it matches what you have proven so far.
If you get past the 1800s with solid proof, you are home free to the 1600s.The French Canadians have more great information out there than anyone else. There records were never distroyed by wars etc. and they recorded everything.
With a name like Boucher, the 1800s will be the most difficult. If you don't get anywhere wiht the queries, it may be worth your while to have the American Canadian Genealogy Society do your research. One year membership is $30 and for a complete straight line of your Bouchers, they will trace the marriage of each generation and give you proof for each generation till they are found in Europe. This could go into the 1600s.The extra cost (for members)is $30 for the entire direct line of each surname. It is $50 for non members.I found it worth being a member because it cost only $30 for each of the 6 lines that I wanted proven.I paid for one line to start with and was so happy that I just wanted proof for everything. After getting these reports back, I was able to find the ancestors of each one ot their wives on the web an finally proove it with Jette and Tanguay.
Well I must close now.The Blue Angels are calling me.I will go and sit out on my new deck, with a cup of ice tea and watch them practice. They are practicing for their big air show this weekend.
Good luck, Janet
