Ellis:

I just read your January 28th posting and would be glad to exchange information with you. I have all three volumes of the Tower Genealogy books, including the original work commissioned by Charlemagne Tower, as well as alot of other Tower's information collected over the years.

I am not certain from your posting if you have all your ancestral lineage back to the emigrant John Tower and his wife, Margaret Ibrook. If you do not have it I may be able to help you make the connection.

I do not find a record of your great-grandmother, Mary Ella Tower in my material. Do you have Mary Ella's parents names? Send me what you have and I will try to make the connections.

Many people settled in and thus births and deaths occurred in the "Indina Territory" before named locations came into existence, so do not despair. Frequently, people settled and stayed in one area, which over time acquired a county name and later a town, city name.

Look forward to hearing from you via this forum or direct email.

Thank you
John W. Tower
