I am look for my GGG-grandmother Elizabeth Tower/Towers family. I have, according to her grave and census records, she was born in Massachusetts on 6 may 1800.She married Jeremiah O'Bryon in about 1820 in Schoharie Co. NY. In Lds records I found an Elizabeth Tower that was born in Worthington, Hampshire, Massachusetts and christened on 13 July 1800. The parents Samuel Towers and Betsey Thomas. The other children of Samuel and Betsey were Lyman, Orvil, Obadiah, Caroline, and Joshua. I believe that this is the same Elizabeth Tower, I need more information on this family to make a connection. Does anyone have this family in thier tree? There is some more evidence of this being the same Elizabeth Tower. Her mother’s name was Betsey Thomas, one of Jeremiah’s brothers James O’Bryon married a Pauline Crowell she was born in Hardwick, Mass (Betsey and Perthenia were also born in Hardwick), on 3 Dec 1794 and her parents were Joseph Crowell and Perthenia THOMAS. Perthenia THOMAS had a sister named Betsey (Elizabeth) which would make Pauline and Elizabeth cousins. Samuel Tower died in Worthington Ma in 1811. Then Betsey was married in 1813 to a Thomas Hall in Mass., then to a Unknown Wright of Catskill, NY. (This information is from a Family tree on World Connect). This would Place Betsey in NY if this information is reliable
