According to Ancestry.com, Elizabeth Rowland's maiden name was Buffington. She was the daughter of Ezeckial Buffington, born 1740 and died 1818. Her mother was Mary Emory born 1747 died unknown. Her grandparents on her father's family was: Thomas Buffington born 1714 and died 1768. Her grandmother was Mary Harlan born 1714 and died 4/7/1750. Her grandparents on her mother's side were: William Emory born 1721 and died 7/1770 and her grandmother was Mary Grant born 1727 and died 1765.
