Hello Edwin,

Many, many thanks!!! I knew there were several Larkin Smiths and had figured who they were named for, but was not aware of the relation of the Towles to him! My email is Word for Windows files woud work best, although I can also use pdf files.

BTW, I live in Huntsville, Missouri which is about 40 miles from where Larkin Smith Towles died and is buried. Apparently, there was a small colony of Towles here in Central Missouri from VA and KY. My great garndfather Robert (son of Thomas son of Stockley and Elizabeth Downman) as did Stokeley William (whom I believe to be his his first cousin through William Payne Towles). Whether they were aware Larkin was near Mexico, MO or not I do not know.. my guess is they did.
