You mentioned you were a descendant of John and Margaret Daniel Towles. I too descended from John and Margaret. What I have been trying to find is if anyone in my line was a soldier in the Revolutionary War. I descended from John's son Stockley who married Martha Gilley. My only hope for a patriot in this family is either Stockley, his father John, or his grandfather Stockley. You also mentioned Grandfather Stockley trading with the merchants in Liverpool. Would you be willing to send me copies of these records? My email is . My address is Kimbal Taylor , P.O. Box 65 , Ashland, AL 36251.
Plese let me know if you can help me with my Revolutionary Soldier search.
