Children of Thomas and Catherine Towles

I am wondering if anyone has information on the children of Thomas and Catherine or Ann Stubblefied. Thomas Towles and Catherine Stubblefield lived in Lancaster and Spotsylvania Co. He was the son of Stokely Towles and Elizabeth Downman.

She died sometime before 1822. He then married on 9 Sep 1822 Ketruah George, and then died around October of that year.

At that point the children were of a minor age. Robert D. was 5, Mary about 4, Thomas Revely about 3, Jenny or Julia was 2, and Frances under 2 years of age. The younger children stayed in VA. Robert appears around the 1840s in Missouri near his uncle William Payne Towles.

Does anyone have information on who was given gaurdianship or who raised them? The girls and Thomas seem not to have left the area of Spotsylvania and Orange Co. Robert D. moved to Randolph Co. MO. Keturah George, Thomas' widow married his cousin William Henry Towles.
