My GGG-grandmother Elvira Towles was a sister of John Culbreath Towles. Elvira married James A. Germany. They moved to Tallapoosa CO Alabama about 1835 and operated Germany's Ferry on the Tallapoosa River near Horseshoe Bend. James and Elvira also had a 5000 acre Plantation.
