The Henry Towles you mention had only one full sister, whose name was Mary, wife of John Clark. I suspect Jane Turner was her daughter (but this is not certain, as he does not name her parents in that section of his will) She could possibly be related on his mother's side (his mother was Jane Sparks Wharton Towles). His will was contested and set aside and all of Henry's heirs by his other 13 siblings (children of his father's first marriage) were named instead. This suit took years to settle. I'd have to look up the copies in the file to see if Jane Turner et al are named in it.
