John6 TOWLES (James5), of Lancaster county, born February 21, 1813; died April 16, 1885; married Sophronia, daughter of Colonel John Chowning, of Lancaster county. Issue: 97. Vivian; 98. Robert; 99. James (these three brothers were soldiers in the Confederate Army and were killed in battle) 100. Rosalie, died aged 14 years; 101. Ella, married ____ Poole; 102. Chrchill, married and lived in Houston, Texas; 103. Dr. LeRoy, of Accokeek, Prince Georges county. MD.
