I have info on a Noah Townzen who died on 11 Feb 1865 in a Confederate Prison Camp. I have been told by another researcher that he married a Caroline Crutchfield in Ripley Co MO, on 8 Sep 1864, but have not verified the marriage myself. Was your Caroline Hamlett ever known as Caroline Crutchfield? If you think the two Carolines might be the same person, write me privately to:, and I can give you more info on Noah Townzen.
I can also give you the other researchers name & email address if you'd like to write to them.
