Hi, My wife's mother Amy was a Tozer from Devon, but there seems to be more than one branch at the moment. There is a definite cell in the Totnes area (NOT mine) which is from the Honiton area of east Devon back as far as Thomas b. c. 1796 in Sheldon (not to be confused with Shaldon, near Newton Abbot)and they then moved and stayed in Exmouth in south east Devon.
Does this help?
