George K. Tozer and Martha Irwin Tozer

I am looking for help in the way of suggestions regarding George K. and Martha Irwin Tozer, married in 1860 in Cook County (Chicago), Illinois. The birth and marriage records were burned in the Great Chicago Fire, but there are marriage indexes which were compiled by Fink from the newspapers.

I have not been able to locate the two in the 1870 census .... anywhere. In the 1880 census they are in New Port, Jackson Co., Arkansas and Martha (Mattie I.) states she was born in IL. I have not been able to find her in census records with any Irwin family in Illinois prior to her marriage.

Just months after the 1880 census she died. I am assuming she was buried in Arkansas, but I cannot find a death record (too early in Arkansas) or an obit. Does anyone have a suggestion for finding her ... I really want to find out who her parents were.

Appreciate any suggestions anyone might have.
