I'll bet your grandfather's name was either William or Robert!!

Let's see if we can connect. Agnes was born either in Michigan or Ontario about 1882. Her parents were Richard Armstrong and Jane Crawford. Agnes first married John Cavenagh June 20, 1900. She had a son Richard Armstrong born about 1902 in Canada. A couple of years later their marriage broke up.

Agnes met Arthur J. Tozer Jr. and they were married in 1907 in Buffalo, where they settled. Arthur formally adopted Richard Armstrong, changing his name to Tozer. Arthur was supposed to have been born on Staten Island NY (but I have never found it).

Arthur J. Tozer Jr. was born in 1884 and he was the son of another Arthur b. 1868 in Barton, Tioga Co., NY the son of William Mary Tozer. Arthur Jr. married an Elizabeth Wilson in Tioga Co. and they lived for a while in New York City (including Staten Island). Presumably Arthur Jr. was was their only child. Arthur married Anna Eiklor in Chemung Co. and they had a daughter Caddie born in 1893. Anna either died or they divorced before 1907 when Arthur married Agnes.

Arthur and Agnes had two children of their own, William Tozer b. about 1910 and Robert E. Tozer born about 1918, both in Buffalo.

William Orrville Tozer b. Jan 11, 1910 in Buffalo. d. in 1996. Marriage unknown.

Robert Edward Tozer b. Dec 2, 1917 in Buffalo. d. March 1986 in Buffalo. Married Evelyn who was b. 1in 1913.

There, if that connects with anything you're looking for, let me know. I have quite a bit on the family.
