I'm from Miramichi, New Brunswick Canada. The area in which I live has about 30,000 people with a very large Tozer population. All I know is that our ancestor, I believe his name was Jared Tozer was a loyalist and came here from the states during the revolutionary war. He had several brothers who went west at the same time. I am mostly interested in finding the origins of the name. I would also like all you others Tozer's out there that the family has really prospered and owns several large business' in this area.
