Hi, Joan. You are running into a little of what I have. If your Dennis is the one who died in KY at a ripe old age with a young second wife, he is probably a cousin to mine. The problem is both of them lived in Lincoln Co. ca. 1810, each married a woman named Elizabeth. Yours m. Elizabeth Howard, I believe,. without looking it up, and mine married Elizabeth GOLDEN/GOLDING, by whom he had two children, Elizabeth, and Mark, named for Elizabeth Golding's father Mark. Your Dennis' Elizabeth died way before he did and he married another younger woman before he died. E-mail me some of your sources, I'm trying to untagle the spaghetti of info on them. To complicate matters still more, they both served in the Rev., but yours had the more prominent career.
