Sampson Trammel from VA to KY

I hope someone can help me connect up my Trammell family. My gggrandmother Mary "Polly" Trammel m. Leonard Wolf January 22, 1822 (daughter of Sampson Trammel?). 1810 census of KY shows Sampson in Clay Cty, KY. 1815 tax list for Allen Cty, KY shows Sampson owning 400 acres on Trammels Creek. 1820 same county - Sampson listed as 45 & older - one son under 10 - three daughters under 10 and 2 daughters 16-26 (one of these my ancestor?). John Trammel is also listed in this census as aged 18-26, with one son under 10 years of age and a wife 16-26 years old (son of Sampson?)1830 Census also lists Sampson Trammel. The grandson of Mary "Polly" Trammel was named John Sampson Wolf. Also in the county was Mary's sister Malinda Trammel who m. Peter Huntsman. All help would be appreciated. Winona Wolfe Welch
