I'd like to share data recently provided me by a very good researcher from MS:

Lilly A. Trammel was born 1853/54, daughter of Joseph Trammel born 1810 NC and Margarett E. Unk.-maiden-name b. 1820 TN. Children of
Joseph and Margarett E. Trammel and their ages in 1860 were:

William C. 19
James H. 17
Lucinda 14
Elbridge 12
Martha E. 8
Lilly A. 6 (my g-g-grandmother)
Margarett 4
Mary A. ten months

The Joseph Trammel family, Tallahatchie County, MS, is listed as # 319. Family # 318 is Thomas Little 23, wife Sarah J. 21 and son Joseph F, all born in MS.(Perhaps Sarah J. Trammel, older sister already married?)

For the 1860 census Tallahatchie, MS, a Jackson Little 44 born GA and
wife Martha 34 born TN had the following children:

Rebecca 17
Mary E. 15
George W. 13
James 12
Thomas 11
Martha M. 8
Sarah F. 8
Margarett E. 5
Annie 5 (twins?)
Tennessee 2
Also living in the household is a Charles Duke born TN. A Duke family
lives close by.

Two doors down from the Jackson Little family is John H. Houston 32
and his wife Olive E. 26 and their children:

Margarett E. 7
James A. 4

For the 1860 census Tallahatchie, MS, the Joseph Trammel family was
listed as # 319. A few doors down, # 324, lived Henry C. Arbuckle age 47 and his wife Elizabeth, 48. Among their children was a Lafayett Arbuckle, age 13. On November 16, 1862, a Sarah Elizabeth Little married Lafayette Arbuckle. Lafayett would have been only 15 or 16,perhaps a different Lafayett?

Next door to the Henry C. Arbuckle family, #325, is Houston Little 25 born TN and wife Sabra J. 18 born MS.

Cemetery in Charleston District I, Tallahatchie Co., MS:

Double Marker
Dave H. Little 4-25-1869 d. 2-25-1961
Maude Kerr Little 6-24-1874 d. 10-29-1952

(This Dave H. Little would have been Lillie Trammel Little's brother-in-law. She married his brother Fair Little in 1878).

Marriages Charleston District I Tallahatchie Co., MS, 1860-1880:

Farrer Little and Lillie Trumel 8-11-78 (my g-g-grandparents) We know that Lillie A. Trammel Little died in Fannin County, TX, 1916.

These families are somehow mostly related--notice the prevalence of the name Margarett with the unusual spelling.
