Charles,

Thank you so much for contacting me. A couple of years ago I was able to contact Tom Travis who was gracious to send me copies from Elizabeth's Bible listing births, deaths and marriages. I am so grateful to have that information.

Elizabeth Harris Travis was my great grandfather's sister. He was John William Harris.

I have found most of the other information I have been looking for with the exception of the Travis information you gave me. I also have not found what happened to Elizabeth's and John's sister Margaret Harris who married Thomas Jenkins in Weakley County, TN.

My other question is about Benjaman Fielding Travis' mother. Apparently she died young and then Benjaman's father remarried. I have wondered if perhaps his mother was a Gleason, but I have no reason other than speculation to think that.

I have worked with the Harrises, but have come to a stand-still with Zephaniah H. Harris and Martha Jane Keeble, Elizabeth's and John's parents.

Again, thank you for the Travis information. If you have any interest in seeing the family tree that I have on Ancestry.com, I will be glad to share.

Sue
