Mary Marchant-

Just noticed your posting concerning the TRAWICKS in Southeastern AL in followup to my original query. I am very interested in the GRANTHAM name that you mention. In June I talked with several GRANTHAMs in Dothan, AL trying to find information on my husband's great grandmother, Annie Belle WELCH, who married (1) Levi Grier HAYS/HAYES, Jr. and soon after Levi died in 1897 married (2) Henry GRANTHAM. She had resided with Levi in Pike Co. and then moved to Dale Co. She died in Dale Co. in Jan. 1929. As far as I know Annie Belle WELCH and Henry GRANTHAM had the following children:
1. Gladys GRANTHAM (7 Nov 1907-13 Nov 1931)
3. ?Faxon "Jack" GRANTHAM (7 Nov 1910-25 Jul 1937)
4. Henry Harold GRANTHAM
5. Mamie Lou "Mary Lou" GRANTHAM
6. Joyce Annell "Ann" GRANTHAM

Ann GRANTHAM was married to Jack KORNEGAY and they lived in Dothan, AL. As far as I can tell, Jack is dead and Ann has probably died within the last 8 years.

Do you know any GRANTHAMs who would have information on Annie Belle WELCH (HAYS/HAYES) GRANTHAM? I particularly want to know when & where she was born and information about her parents and their ancestors.

I will also try to send this request to your personal e-mail address. I would certainly appreciate any help -
