I am searching for information on Martha Trawick born in Alabama. I believe this is Martha's married name. Martha was also listed in the 1860 census living in Newton county, TX, dwelling #104 with Joel Brandon living close. It is shown that Martha Trawick married Joel Brandon April 2, 1867 Newton County, TX. My husband is a descendant of Martha Louisa (Brandon) Dean. This marriage was after her birth so it only compounds the confusion of who her parents are. I am trying to connect Martha Louisa (Brandon)Dean that married John Wesley Dean in 1876 in Burleson County TX, to Joel and Martha (Trawick)Brandon that were buried in the Hannah cemetery in San Saba Co, TX. I also found a Martha Traywick in the Sabine parish, Louisiana, 1850 census, PAGE 31 OF 168 that I believe is the same as the one located in the 1860 Newton County census.
