Trevick may be Norwegian? Viking?

Family legend has it Trevicks were Viking raiders 1000 AD in Northumberland, England and name comes from the Norwegian "Trevic", a town at the mouth of three rivers. They later fought for the English kings against the Scots. Anyone else ever hear this story? Lynn
