The Dale County, Al. Trawicks can trace their lines over to Henry County, right next door to Dale(I LIVE IN DALE COUNTY,AL).(From info. by RULON SMITHSON (TRAWICK FAMILY IN AMERICA)Old George Trawick married first Tamer Seger. They had:Gilead(m. James Hearon), Allen(m. Searah Kinney, Delila(m. a Henneret), Mary( m. a Henneret), Hugh (m. Elizabeth?) Esther(MY ANCESTOR, m. Kenyon Taylor), Winifred (m. Jesse Horton & a Nelson) Then he married Artiesia Carraway and then DIVORCED her. He then married again, wife's name not known. But of this union were the folowing:Elizabeth (m. Lewis Sowell), Elenor (m. George Sowell), Francis Darling, George Nelson(m. 1.Nancy Galloway & 2. Lucinda Vickers Moore)<this Geo. died in Newton< Dale Co.,AL., William G(reene?)(m. Sarah) & Charlotte(m. Hamp Garland)
I would perhaps think your line came from the George that moved to Newton......you can find lots of Trawicks in the Henry County, Al. census records. Hope this helps. Helen Taylor Andrews, Ozark, Al.
